MADANI QAIDA

Primary Qaida for reciting the Holy Quran with the correct pronunciation

Madani Qaida Lesson 5 Part3

Madani Qaida is a fundamental book:

Madani Qaida is a fundamental book that teaches basic Arabic script, pronunciation, and grammar to beginners. It is widely used in Islamic schools and madrassas around the world to teach young children how to read the Quran. In this blog post, we will discuss Madani Qaida Lesson 5, which focuses on the short vowels (zabar, zer, and pesh) and their usage.

fifth lesson of Madani Qaida:

The fifth lesson of Madani Qaida introduces the three short vowels, which are called "harakat" in Arabic. The three short vowels are:

Zabar - A small slanting line placed above a letter to indicate the "a" sound.
Zer - A small slanting line placed below a letter to indicate the "i" sound.
Pesh - A small slanting line placed above a letter to indicate the "u" sound.
The lesson begins with the pronunciation of these short vowels and how they are written in Arabic script. It is essential to understand that the placement of these short vowels changes the meaning of the word. Therefore, it is crucial to learn them correctly.

Madani Qaida Lesson 5 Part 3:

The Madani Qaida Lesson 5 Part 3 teaches the students how to read and write words using the three short vowels. The students are taught how to recognize and differentiate between the short vowels when they are used in different words. The lesson also includes a list of words that use these short vowels, which students can practice reading and writing.

Importance of learning:
The importance of learning short vowels cannot be overstated. They are an essential part of Arabic pronunciation, and without them, it is impossible to read the Quran or any other Arabic text. Therefore, it is essential to practice reading and writing words with short vowels to become proficient in Arabic.

Lesson Number 5 Part 3: Tanween
Fathatayn [two Zabar] , Kasratayn [two Zayr] and Dammatayn [two Paysh]
are called ‘Tanween’. A letter which has a Tanween on it is called Munawwan.
In fact Tanween is a ‘Noon Saakinah’ that is at the end of the word; this is why
Tanween sounds like a ‘Noon Saakinah

Sometimes ‘ا ‘or ‘ی ‘is shown after two Zabar [Fathatayn], do not pronounce it
during spelling.
